Commuting from Rock Ridge

By freeway

The I-215 and SR-60 ramps at 3rd Street are 0.6 mile from the gate, the fastest way onto the Inland Empire's main north-south and east-west routes. The SR-91 at Lime Street downtown is 1.7 miles, the road toward Corona and Orange County. Ontario International Airport is 18.6 miles.

Two stations are close. The Riverside-Downtown station is 2.0 miles away and is served by three Metrolink lines, including trains toward Orange County and Los Angeles. The Hunter Park/UCR station is 2.2 miles, on the 91/Perris Valley Line. Both let you leave the car at home for a Los Angeles or Orange County day.

By bus

RTA Route 13 stops at Chicago and Linden, a few hundred feet from the gate. Routes 1, 14 and 22 stop at University and Chicago, about a fifth of a mile out. Route 1 runs between Corona, downtown Riverside and UC Riverside from early morning to around midnight on weekdays.

Where the trip ends

For work close to home: UC Riverside is 1.3 miles, the County Administrative Center 1.8, Riverside Community Hospital 2.6, and Kaiser Permanente's Riverside Medical Center 10.8.
